Offers Sought for Firewood at Playing Field.
The ash tree that sadly had to be felled in the Playing Field owing to ash die back has been cut into logs for firewood. The Parish Council is seeking to recoup some of the expense of felling this by selling this firewood. Offers can be sent by email to or by post to Church Knowle Parish Council, 2 Peveril Road, Swanage BH19 2DH. The best offer submitted by 7th November will be accepted.
The purchaser will have to take the logs away and leave the site neat and clean as befits a childrens playing field.
30mph Speed Limit – Church Knowle Village
The 30mph Speed Limit through Church Knowle Village has been approved and will go ahead. The extent of this is shown on the attached plan. While 30mph is still too fast to drive through the village one of the important functions of speed limits and associated signage is to warn motorists that there is a caution – in this case a very pretty Dorset village – ahead.
