- Offers Sought for Firewood at the Cemetery behind St. Peters Church.
The sycamore that had to be felled in the Cemetery has been cut into logs for firewood. The Parish Council is seeking to recoup some of the expense of felling this tree by selling this firewood. There are several piles of this in the cemetery and it is all included. Offers can be sent by email to: or by post to: Church Knowle Parish Council, 2 Peveril Road, Swanage BH19 2DH. The best offer received by midnight 10th August will be accepted.
2. Treat with Preservative the Wooden Play Equipment
Quotes are sought to treat all of the woodwork of the structures and play equipment with an approved preservative. Surfaces will have to be rough sanded first to remove lichen and any splinters.
